Propane is a versatile fuel that can be used in a variety of business applications, including commercial kitchens, heating and hoarding, concrete curing, power generation and fleet fuel.
Propane offers you flexibility and effectiveness for your day-to-day operations. Readily available in both urban and rural locations, propane can be stored indefinitely in various tank sizes, is easily transported and performs reliably in extreme weather. It’s also a clean-burning, environmentally friendly fuel.
Co-op can refill tanks and cylinders on the spot and on your schedule. As a full-service provider, we also supply or rent a range of cylinders (20 – 420 lbs), tanks, protective cages and other equipment to serve our customers. Our trusted rental partners can also assist you with additional equipment such as heaters, generators and forklifts.
Construction
Construction is a year-round operation and propane provides a reliable source of heat. Propane can be used broadly to warm a workspace in our cold climate or for more specific applications such as curing concrete, setting masonry and installing roofing.
Propane torches and air compressors are just a small sample of the available tools and equipment that are used every day on projects from laying asphalt to applying roof and wall membranes. As an alternative fuel, propane can also fuel the truck that takes you to the jobsite.
Hospitality
Propane can heat and power resort, restaurant and even food truck businesses. The fuel can effectively fuel many commercial kitchen appliances – including stoves, ovens, fryers and barbecues – and provide backup power or power on the go. Propane is also perfect for patios, whether it’s a glowing flame for ambiance or heater for cooler temperatures.
In addition to this, resorts may use propane to heat guest rooms and produce hot water. Laundry appliances that run on propane are also available.
Manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas
Propane is among the best fuels to provide reliable on-site, off-grid power generation no matter the location – eliminating any downtime – but can also be used for backup reserve power. Whether it’s a work camp, plant or warehouse, propane keeps buildings warm and heats water and boiler systems required for your operations. Again, various tools, equipment such as forklifts and vehicles all offer comparable performance against traditional fuels and electric but often have lower associated costs and emissions.
Agriculture
Whether it’s out in the field, in the yard or in a greenhouse, propane can be used throughout your operation. It can be efficiently used for heating barns and other work spaces, drying grain, heating homes and fuelling equipment, such as irrigation pumps. In our climate, the fuel can also heat water and provide backup power through a generator.
